Product tour

Four people use it daily.
Each of them sees something different.

The owner, the cashier, the picker and the customer are looking at the same products, the same stock and the same money — through four windows shaped to the job in front of them.

The owner

Open the laptop, see the whole shop

Not one dashboard per channel. Counter and online together or apart — because the question is almost always which till, which store, which day is the problem.

  • Revenue by day and by store, POS and online side by side.
  • Low stock, orders waiting, last seven days at a glance.
  • Best sellers and which categories earn their shelf space.
  • Every till sale searchable, receipt one click away.
  • Staff scoped to a branch; sessions you can kill from the phone.
  • Audit log — who changed that price, exportable, read-only.

Stores are real units

Shared catalogue, every sale tagged to the branch that made it. A role assigned at a location is all that person sees.

Permissions, not ranks

~80 actions. Build a role from a checklist. Let one cashier refund without promoting them. Seasonal access expires on a date.

Change it without a developer

Currency, tax, delivery rules, payment methods, skins, homepage sections, receipt footer — all in settings. Deploys on cPanel with no build.

The cashier

One screen for the scan, the drawer and the receipt

Fast enough for a Saturday counter. Strict enough that the day’s cash adds up. If the internet dies, the till does not.

  • Scan a barcode or type a few letters. Search stays instant with thousands of SKUs.
  • Change shown clearly. Cash, card and wallet recorded by method.
  • Thermal print over the network, browser-print fallback, reprint any past ticket.
  • Website coupons work here. Validated server-side.
  • Missing permission prompts for a manager PIN — the sale goes through, the approval is logged.
  • Offline: catalogue cached, sales queued, auto-sync on reconnect.

Point-of-sale features

The picker

Walk the shop once

A screen for the person with the crate. Lines grouped so the aisle is not walked twice. Save the list in one tap. Delivery, counter pickup, or curbside when they say they are here.

  • Grouped picking list, saved in one tap.
  • Home delivery with your own charges and rules.
  • Counter pickup at a slot they choose — no address, no shipping.
  • Curbside: “I’m here” jumps the queue, vehicle description attached.
  • Order stages you rename, to match how the shop actually works.

The customer

Shop, pay, track — no account required

Nothing in checkout requires signing up. An account exists so a returning customer sees history and saved addresses — never as a gate in front of a sale.

Getting on it

The first week, honestly

Nobody switches a shop over on a Monday morning. Import the catalogue, train on the till, then turn the website on when you are ready — or leave it off forever, with one flag.

Day 1

Shop and stores

Name, logo, currency, tax, theme. Then each location. Multi-store is a row, not a second system.

Settings

Day 1

Staff and roles

Cashier, manager, stock controller — or a role you build from the permission checklist.

Day 2

Catalogue in

CSV by SKU, or walk the aisles with a scanner. Photos from a phone. Pack sizes read from names.

Day 3

Till live

Receipt printer IP, opening float, a Saturday of training sales on demo data. Offline mode on.

Day 4

Payments

Stripe or PayPal keys, COD, bank details, Zelle. Sandbox first, then the live switch.

Day 5

Website, if you want it

Pick a skin, drop in the logo, publish the homepage. Or set ONLY_POS=1 and never have a public shop.

Week 2

Everything else

Picking, curbside, loyalty, reviews, QR stickers, the AI assistant — switched on when you want them.
