Priced per shop,
not per person at the till

Adding a cashier should not cost anything. Every plan includes the register, the catalogue and the audit log — the three things a shop cannot open without.

Till

$29 per month

The register only. For shops that do not sell online — or are not ready to yet. One switch away from adding the storefront later.

Questions

Everything owners ask before signing

Do the website and the till share one product list?
Yes. That is the point. Add a product once, photograph it once, set the price once. The public shop and the register both read it. Stock is deducted inside a database transaction, whichever channel sold it.
What happens if the internet drops mid-sale?
The register keeps working. It is an installable app: the catalogue is cached, sales queue locally, and they sync the moment the line comes back. Card payments that need a gateway still need the line, as they do on any terminal.
Can I run till-only, with no public shop?
Yes. One .env flag — ONLY_POS=1 — turns the whole thing into a staff login that opens on the register. Switch it back when you are ready to sell online. Nothing is rebuilt.
Do my customers need an account?
Never. Checkout works as a guest. An account exists so a returning customer can see history and saved addresses — it is not a gate in front of a sale. Tracking works with an order number and an email.
Where is card data stored?
Not on our servers. Cards are tokenised by Stripe or PayPal. We keep the token, the last four digits and the brand. Webhooks are signature-verified and idempotent, so a replayed callback cannot double-charge.
Can each branch have its own takings?
Yes. Several locations share one catalogue; every sale is tagged to the store that made it. Reports filter per store or roll up. A role assigned at a location is all that person sees — orders, receipts, pick lists.
I already have a Clover at the counter. Do I have to replace it?
No. Keep it. The catalogue and stock sync with Clover, online orders are pushed to your Clover devices, and counter sales come back into the same reports. Square and Clover can also take card payments online.
Does the register take EBT?
Yes. Mark products as SNAP-eligible and the register splits the basket automatically between EBT SNAP, EBT Cash and whatever pays for the rest. Split payment works across any tenders.
Do I need Node, Composer, or a VPS?
No. Plain PHP and MySQL. It deploys on XAMPP locally and on ordinary cPanel hosting with no build step. Upload, import the schema, edit .env.
What if a cashier needs to discount but should not refund?
Access is per action, not per rank. About eighty permissions, bundled into roles you name, plus per-person exceptions. At the till, a missing permission can prompt for a manager PIN instead of blocking the sale — the approval is recorded against the receipt.
What if I have more than one shop business, not just more branches?
Multi-shop hosting (beta) runs many separate shops from one installation — each on its own web address with its own database. Two businesses cannot see each other’s data. Ordinary multi-store (several locations, one catalogue) is already in the Chain plan.
Can I get my data out if I leave?
Yes, in CSV, at any time, without asking us. Products, customers, orders, payments and stock movements. There is also a self-service export and delete for individual customers, which is what data-protection law actually requires of you.
